Just 18 months after its latest edition, INDEX 2023 returns to the PalExpo in Geneva, Switzerland, this month, back on its three-year cycle, which was disrupted last time by the Covid pandemic. The event will take place Tuesday April 18 through Friday, April 21. Sponsored by EDANA, the Brussels, Belgium-based European nonwovens trade association, INDEX is the year’s preeminent nonwovens exposition and is expected to attract thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors, representative of the global nonwovens supply chain. The event will begin at 9 a.m. each day and end at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and at 4 p.m. on Friday. Over four days all the key players from around the world, from all levels of the nonwovens industry and across all application sectors, will gather together for the chance to present innovative solutions with nonwovens, seek new business opportunities, and expand their business networks. INDEX will feature tutorials, workshops, a conference session and exhibitor product presentations. Another highlight of the show is the display of the INDEX Innovation Awards, which will be presented during the show and recognize innovation across a number of nonwovens categories. For more on the INDEX Innovation Awards finalists, turn to page 106. This special section of Nonwovens Industry includes information on the trade show itself, exhibitors and the many new products and innovations scheduled to be introduced by INDEX exhibitors.
